The Morakniv Garberg carbon steel has a full extended tang blade and is designed to perform the toughest tasks it encounters.
Manufactured at the Mora factory in Sweden the Garberg is one of the most robust knives that Mora makes. The carbon steel blade is 3.2 mm thick and has a true scandi-grind making it strong and easy to maintain in the field. This blade also features a ground spine making it work with Ferro rods.
This knife also features a 3mm thick leather sheath that perfectly compliments this full extended tang knife.
Note: High carbon steel is easy to sharpen and holds an edge well but requires more maintenance. When it gets exposed to water or a corrosive environment you need to make sure the knife is clean and dry when put away.
